Book Talk Question # 3
All books have a main problem in the story. What is the problem your main character is facing? Write a diary entry from the perspective of the main character. Include a description of the problem, how you are feeling about it and a possible solution to the problem. Really try to use what you know about the character and what would make sense in the story to create a solution.

The main problem is the kids (Luke,JJ,Will,Lyssa,Charla and Ian.) Are stranded on a boat thats sinking and they cant find Lyssa and J.J! Luke's diary: I can't believe that the captain and Radford ditched us. And they took all of our food. I feel worried,scared and hungry. We have to try to find an island and find food and water. I hope a helicoptor or another boat comes to save us (or me)
ReplyDeleteThe main problem of the story is that the boat Blewup and it sunk to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Today the Phonix had a shipwreck four people went missing. One of them was the captain the one who which died. The next one is Rat-face the one who knew the boat was sinking and left. J.J and Lyssa who went missing or possibly died. We are stradened in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with no food or freshwater.The only thing we have is a raft which only fits three people and the fourth one has to dangle off the raft. I am really scared but i'll show i am brave. I say if there was a soulution it would be those resucue boat.
ReplyDeleteluke haggerty is the main character in my book he dosent want to be in the middle of the pacific ocean with a bunch of strangers but all he wants to do is get off the boat and go home so he will work with all of them and do what it takes to go home.
ReplyDeleteWill's diary. My problem is that i wouldn't be on this ship if it wasnt for my sister. She is the whole reason why i'm here because of what she did. A better solution is to send me home and keep her here.
ReplyDeleteright now in the story luke is on boat that is sinking andhe has a bunch on needy gready anoying kids acupt charla but he could solv the problam by ditching the boat and geting on a raft and go to a island and camp ther and make sinal fires and stuf.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that the boat is sinking with all the kids on it and they have to find a way to save themselves. Wills diary entry 1: My sister thinks she is so smart but she's just making it worse it seems everyone on this boat is crazy.
ReplyDeleteThe main problem is that 6 kid(Luke,Lyssa,Will,Charla,Ian and J.J,)are stuck on a boat with Mr.Radford and Captain Cascadden they do stuff that Mr.Radford tells them what to do or Captain Cascadden.Luke's diary.I would't be here if someone in my school put a gun in my locker and accused me for it.I feel mad because the school or someone just accused Luke for having a gun in his locker they should of looked at the gun and see if there is anyone else handprints on the gun.They should of sent the kids on a better boat then the one they are on now but all of them have to learn not to be bad all the time and learn their lessonof what they did.
